Show Facts and Figures
There’s no doubt that SHOT Show is impressive. Just how impressive can be found in the Show Facts and Figures, where you might find just the head-turning insight to enliven your show coverage. For example, firearms and ammunition are a $6.7 billion industry, and the total economic impact of the industry is nearly $49 billion, which supports more than 288,000 jobs! And the reason we suggest attendees wear comfortable shoes? There are 13 acres of sold-out exhibition space—the equivalent of 10 football fields or the area covered by the base of the Great Pyramid of Giza.

SHOT SHOW NEXT
The introduction of the NEXT Pavilion at the 2016 SHOT Show drew rave reviews, and we’re happy to say that NEXT is back for 2017. Developed to introduce new manufacturers and suppliers never before seen at the SHOT Show, the popular NEXT Pavilion continues with more than 100 exhibiting companies. The NEXT Pavilion provides an excellent opportunity to discover new, and newsworthy, equipment.

Press Room Hours and More Information
We encourage media to be mindful of press room operating hours, particularly daily closing times so personal items are not left behind when the room is locked for the evening. View press room hours, exhibit floor hours and important press room service information in this Press Room Resources document. Note that law enforcement booths open a half hour earlier, at 8 a.m., than the main show floor.

Industry Day at the Range—By Invitation Only
Attendance at Industry Day at the Range, slated for Monday, January 16, the day before the show opens, is by invitation only from companies exhibiting at Industry Day. Registration is still open to invited media, register ASAP to ensure your spot. Unless you are pre-registered for Industry Day, please do not show up at the range expecting to gain access.
