Virginia Bill to be Considered Today Will Limit Hunting Opportunities
Urge the Committee to Oppose SB 1725

A Virginia House Subcommittee will consider legislation today that could severely limit waterfowl hunting opportunities. SB 1725 would require all blinds be constructed or moved at least 150 yards from the shoreline. Such a requirement will limit, or in some cases, remove many hunting opportunities. This is just one more barrier for hunters that is unnecessary.

Contact members of the House Agriculture, Chesapeake and Natural Resources Sub-Committee: Subcommittee #1 immediately and respectfully urge them to oppose SB 1725 as it will reduce lawful hunting opportunities in Virginia.
