N.C. Residents: Express Your Support for Sunday Hunting on Public Lands Attend a Meeting Hosted by the Wildlife Resources Commission
The North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission (WRC) will be hosting statewide meetings to gain the public’s input on opening Sunday hunting on public lands. Please attend one of the public meetings hosted by the WRC and voice your support for Sunday hunting on public lands.
Sunday hunting on private land is currently legal in North Carolina, but the WRC has not yet opened public lands for those who do not have the ability to buy or lease their own property. Hunters, who fund the majority of public lands, should be afforded the opportunity to use those lands for hunting during established seasons.
