Florida Firearm Businesses, Has Your Locality Ordered You to Close?

As COVID-19 continues its spread across the country, states and localities have begun shutting down businesses deemed “non-essential.” NSSF^® has been actively working with elected officials at the federal, state, and local level, as well as government agencies, to ensure members of the firearm and ammunition industry are designated as “Essential Businesses” during this pandemic.
 
The state of Florida has not yet issued a “Stay at Home” executive order, but there are localities around the state that are issuing their own orders. NSSF was successful in getting Delray Beach to include “firearm retailers” as “Essential Businesses” after learning retailers were ordered to shutdown. This is just one the many examples across the country where NSSF engaged and was successful in keeping our industry operational.
