This order is an update to Executive Order 20-33, which ordered all shooting ranges close as part of the “stay at home” order, despite their inclusion on the U.S. DHS Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) guidance. NSSF® requested that Governor Walz reevaluate the order as it applied to shooting ranges. We appreciate that the administration recognized the important role outdoor ranges play in Minnesota and will continue to urge Governor Walz to also exempt indoor ranges from the “stay at home” order. NSSF will continue to provide updates as these circumstances change.
