Important Information For Media
We are looking forward to seeing you at the 41st SHOT Show, Jan. 22 to 25, at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas. Before you arrive, we want you to know about several improvements to services that will affect credentialed media. At the same time, please take a moment to review the longstanding services and amenities that will help make your time spent at SHOT profitable and enjoyable.

No Advance Mailing of Badges
As you know from the email confirmation of your credentials, SHOT Show badges will no longer be mailed to you. Pre-registered media can pick up their badges in the Press Room on Level 3 of the Venetian on Sunday, Jan. 20, from 3 to 5 p.m., Monday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and during regular Press Room hours (listed below) during the show. Please remember to bring a photo ID and your confirmation email. Media invited to Industry Day at the Range may pick up their show badges at the range (you will not need your badge to board the free bus transportation to the range). A general reminder: Always wear your media badge while at the show and, for security purposes, it’s good practice to remove your badge when outside the show, such as in your hotel lobby or a restaurant.

New Digital Press Kits
SHOT Show has transitioned to a new Digital Press Kit site to make it easier for media to access exhibitor press materials prior to, during and after the show, and to help reduce the amount of wasted printed materials. You can access the Digital Press Kit section by signing in with your badge number and last name via this link. The link also will be available in the show’s Online Newsroom. Additionally, exhibitor press kits can be accessed in the Press Room via dedicated computer terminals that will be connected to a printer. There will no longer be media materials bins in the press room.
|
New Show Photo Library
SHOT Show again will make photos of the show available at no cost to media for use in their show coverage. However, SHOT Show 2019 photos will not be available on Flickr as in years past but on this SHOT Show photo library site, where you’ll log in with your email address to download photos. The link also will be available in the Online Newsroom. |
The Press Room
The NSSF Press Room is home base for all registered SHOT Show media. The Press Room location is the same as in past shows—the Venetian Hotel, Level 3, Murano Ballroom. Find out what the Press Room has to offer at Press Room Resources. The Press Room is staffed by the NSSF Communications Team, which is available to assist you with show information and story ideas.
|
Online Newsroom
The place for media to find show news, story ideas and more is the Online Newsroom at www.shotshow.org/newsroom. You’ll find links to the SHOT Show Blog, press conferences, exhibitor news releases, show facts and figures, and much more.
|
Press Conferences
The show’s Press Conference Room is in Room #3401, San Polo Ballroom, near the Press Room. The schedule of exhibiting company press conferences taking place in this room, as well as at booths on the show floor, is available via the Online Newsroom.
|
NSSF Press Conference on New Hunting Initiatives
“New Efforts to Increase Hunting Participation” will be the topic of an NSSF-led press conference Thursday, Jan. 24, at 10 a.m. in the Press Conference Room (San Polo #3401).
