We Need Your Help: Urge Kentucky House Committee Members To Hear And Pass FIND Act

Kentucky Urge Committee Members to hear and support House Bill 123

The firearm industry is regularly discriminated against by big banks, insurance and tech companies trying to enact their own versions of gun control. In an effort to end this discrimination, the Kentucky Firearm Industry Nondiscrimination (FIND) Act, House Bill 123, was introduced this session in the Kentucky legislature by Republican state Rep. Savannah Maddox. This bill would require that the state of Kentucky not enter into contracts with any company, regardless of industry, unless they agree in writing to not have policies of discrimination against our industry.

This bill was assigned to the House Appropriations & Revenue Committee last week. We are now in the final two weeks of session and if this bill is going to become law, it needs to be added to the committee schedule tomorrow AND passed out of committee.

Kentucky members are urged to email the following Appropriations & Revenue Committee members TODAY and urge them to hear and support House Bill 123.

Representative Jason Petrie (Chair) – Jason.Petrie@lrc.ky.gov
Representative Brandon Reed (Vice Chair) - Brandon.Reed@lrc.ky.gov
