Florida Firearm Industry Alert: Bill to Stop ‘Woke’ Banking Introduced
Help NSSF End ‘Woke’ ESG Financial Discrimination

House Bill 3, an effort to stop corporate ‘wokeness’ in Florida, has been introduced in the Florida House of Representatives. HB 3 will prevent woke corporations with discriminatory policies against firearm industry members from collecting taxpayer dollars through state contracts and pensions. Simply put, the Sunshine State will choose to do business with those companies that do not discriminate based on an industry they may not like or with which they disagree.

NSSF® needs your assistance to make sure transparency and fairness become law!

Please begin contacting your State Representative and ask them to support House Bill 3 when it comes before them. You can look up the contact information for your State Representative by clicking here.

For years, NSSF members engaged in the lawful commerce of firearms and ammunition have experienced discrimination by institutions simply because of the type of business they are in. In these cases, the refusal to provide goods and services results in higher costs of doing business and increased prices for consumers who are simply exercising their Second Amendment rights. Our members have reported facing discrimination from internet search engines, payment processors, social media companies, insurance companies and other service providers not covered by the FDIC.

While the firearm industry respects the right of financial institutions and other service providers to make business decisions based on objective criteria, it is wrong to discriminate against businesses simply because they are engaged in the lawful commerce of firearms and ammunition, a heavily regulated activity protected by the Second Amendment. State government should have the right to know if companies are “Anti-Second Amendment.” They should have a choice to do business elsewhere.
