Washington State May Allow Frivolous Lawsuits Against Industry
NSSF Needs Your Help to Oppose SB 5078

NSSF® has been working on your behalf this session to kill a multitude of anti-industry bills at the legislature and inform you about all legislation impacting your business and the industry in general. During this entire legislative session, NSSF has kept you up to speed on multiple pieces of legislation that would have detrimental consequences for the firearm industry.

SB 5078, which if passed, would allow frivolous lawsuits to be brought against manufacturers, retailers and virtually anyone else in the supply chain. This bill will have a hearing tomorrow, March 14th, 2023, in the Washington House Civil Rights and Judiciary Committee.

In what’s becoming the norm in Olympia, the legislature is attempting to bring the legislation to the floor in a clandestine way to avoid the massive uproar and well-deserved scrutiny a bill of this nature would attract.

NSSF needs your help! Please contact your legislator and tell them to vote ‘No’ on SB 5078! You can find your legislator by clicking here.
