Back in March, the Iowa House amended and passed Governor Kim Reynold’s anti-ESG bill. Senate File 507, as amended by the House, would keep state contracts from going to companies that boycott the firearm industry. This is a priority bill for NSSF^®.

Now, we need your help again. We need the Iowa Senate to approve Senate File 507 AS AMENDED BY THE HOUSE to send it to Governor Reynold’s desk.

We know the big corporations in banking, credit processing and freight that discriminate against the firearm industry and Second Amendment will try to strip out the amendment that the House inserted because without that amendment, the bill doesn’t have any impact on them.

The Iowa legislative session is expected to conclude this week, so it is crucial that you contact your state senator TODAY with this message: Vote to approve Senate File 507 as amended by the House. Iowa shouldn’t be contracting with big corporations that boycott the firearm industry and Second Amendment.
